In garments without fabrics all are accessories or trimmings. Garments Accessories/Trims can be describe in two broad categories-

  1. Swing Accessories – These Accessories are used in Swing purpose.
  2. Finishing Accessories- These Accessories are used after swing but in finishing purpose.

Swing Accessories:

1.Sewing Thread : Sewing thread use stitching on garment . Swing threads are made by yarn multiplying because it should have sufficient strength to absorb tension during swing operation. SWING THREAD:

  1. Lining: These are extra fabric (generally smooth & lustrous made of silk or manufactured fiber or cotton) used in inner face of body fabric at garments to provide extra protection. Ex. Lining of blazer& coat. [Taffeta is a general term that refers to any plain woven filament (non-cotton) yarn fabric. They are may be Unbalance Taffeta, Balance Taffeta, Meir’s Taffeta & Iridescent Taffeta according to their design.] Lining
  2. Elastic: A term used to describe narrow fabrics incorporating elastomeric fibers, which extend when stretch & recover their original dimension when the stretching is removed. Elastics are broadly used at waist of normal pants, pajama (night dress), skirt, kid’s trouser (up to 12 years), man’s briefs, lingerie’s and many other garments. The size of Elastic is expressed by their width. They are may be ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1.5”, 2” & more. Elastic:

4. Zipper: A fastening device operating by means of two parallel rows of metal or plastic teeth on either side of a closure that are interlocked by a sliding tab is called zipper. These are used in industrial clothing, typical apparel garments as a closure in pants, skirt & dresses. Basically it is the part of chain. The physical part of the zipper are shown in the following figure- Basic Part of Zipper: 1. Zipper Tape: Zipper tape is the woven fabric made by nylon or polyester or bland fiber. It is treated as critical part of zipper because it should be DTM. It is attach by swing with garments. 2. Teeth: It is made of brass, aluminum or plastic or nylon. Zipper is opened & closed by these teeth. 3. Slider: It is used to open & close the zipper teeth. 4. Stopper: It controls the slider run out of the zipper. ZIPPER:

ZIPPER: Types of Zipper: 1. Plastic zipper or nylon zipper 2. Metal zipper & 3. Vislon zipper

  1. RIB: Rib is a double jersey fabric. Rib is used as- 1. Collar of T-shirt: -this is made by circular knitting machine. 2. Collar of Polo-shirt: -this is made by flat-bed knitting machine. 3. Collar of sweater. 4. Collar of Hoddy. 5. Cuff of T-shirt 6. Cuff of Polo-shirt 7. Cuff of sweater and 8. Cuff of hoody
  2. Shoulder Pad: For a long time it is being used the shoulder pad to the make of garments for men & women. Sometimes, it is used as a functional part of garments. Also sometimes, it is used to increase the beauty of garments as a decorative part. Shoulder may be different in size, thickness, structure & quality. It is made from different types of materials but shoulder pad made from foam is comparatively cheap & easy to wash. It is widely used in shoulder of coat & blazer. Shoulder Pad:
  1. Label: Label is a tag that gives a description of the performance an inherent in a fabric for the purpose of aiding the consumer in selection. A label is a part of garments which indicates the various instructions about garments. Label is attached with garments by swing. There are following types of label are available- Main label: Contain brand name or buyer name Size label: Contained garments size. Label: Types of Label: 1. Main Label: Contains buyer name or brand name. 2. Size Label: Contains garments size. 3. Care Label: Provides information about washing, ironing, drying etc. 4. Integrated Label: Contains main label, care label, and size label in a combination.
  2. Care label: It is attach at the side of garments & contain following three information- üComposition üCare code or symbol üCountry of origin Integrated label: This label contains Main label, Size label & Care label information. Label:
  3. Hook & Bar or Hook & Loop: Contain 4parts Hook & Bar or Hook & Loop:
  4. Twill Tape or Canvas Tape or Herringbone Tape: Applications: ü Flap open & close. ü To give particular shape & stable the garments components. ü Decorative purpose. Twill Tape or Canvas Tape or Herringbone Tape: Canvas Tape

Finishing Accessories

11.Button : Button is a knob or disc which can be attached to the garments as a means of fastening or ornamentation. Button is an essential trim which is attached with garments as functional or decorative purpose. Button can be made from different types of materials. Mostly use metal & plastic. The size of button is express as ligne where 1Ligne = 0.635m. At 1st button diameter is measure through slide calipers & converted in to ligne. According to the number of hole button can be classified as two types- 1. 2-hole button 2. 4-hole button Button:

  1. Snap: This fastening element contain 4 parts. Snap:
  2. Shank Button: It is hole-less button contain two part & attached by pressing. Here button hole is called eyelet. Shank Button:
  3. Rivet: This fastening element contain 2 parts & used for decorative purpose & provide extra strength. Rivet:
  4. Hanger: Hanger Sizer: Attach with hanger clip for identifying garments size. It is detachable
  5. Eyelet: It use trouser/ jacket to use Draw cord, Stopper
  6. Size Strip: size no. written on a stripe of several times. Pocket Flasher: Hang Tag: Photo-in-lay:
  7. Hook & Eye: Contain 4 parts, 2-upper & 2-lower. Patch: It is attach at the waist band of pants as belt loop.

19. Price Ticket: Two information must contain- üprize ü Bar Code (used scanning prize) Price Ticket:

  1. Buckle: Metal trim used in waist band of trench coat. Photo-in-lay: Photo of packed garment on the packet. PP Belt: It is used at the joining point of carton containing garments. Hook and Eye: Trims that used in fastening of kid’s pants.
  2. 21. Hang Tag : After iron we attach hang tag as buyer requirement like customer brand, logo, address etc.
  3. Poly Bag: There are two types- Individual & Blister. 1. Individual- one garment/bag 2. Blister- more than 1 to 100 garments/bag Poly Bag:
  4. Carton: The step accessories is carton. Number of ply indicates the quality of a carton. There are • 3 ply carton • 5 ply carton • 7 ply carton • 9 ply carton etc. –

We are also used some accessories at finishing- Tissue Paper: It is used in garments packing,  Barcode sticker with hang tag, Back Board, Collar Stay, Butterfly. Collar Stay,  Neck Board, Silica gee bag,  Tag Pin,  Poly sticker, Gum tap, PP Band etc

Nomination :

In order to get the right quality of garment accessories, we take nomination to produce from the foreign customers. Once, We take approved their nominated items so that the quality will be same during the next production for all suppliers. At a time buyer place order one or more factories but they don’t produce same accessories company. As a result they make quality different. But when we make production our own factory then we can ensure all product quality will be same as previous and we can give quality assurance.

 

Delivery Lead time Generally delivery Lead time need 2 weeks for Production after confirmation PI from customer. On emergency case, we can delivery early. Goods will be delivery after opened LC or payment confirmation.

 

Payment Terms Cash / Cheque / FDD / Letter of Credit. We prefer LC above USD 2000
